Survey both lakes to identify existing invasive and non-invasive species. It has been several years since both lakes underwent a thorough survey beyond spot-checks.

Kindly be aware that most Federal and State Grants necessitate a 30-50% ‘participation’ from us towards the total cost of treatment.

Additional street sweeping
Leaves are a significant source of pollutants in lakes, contributing to higher levels of total phosphorous. While the City of Maple Grove provides some street sweeping services, investing in extra assistance can help decrease the amount of leaves entering the lake.

The estimated cost for anticipated 2024 initiatives is around $10,000. To achieve this, we aim to secure a minimum of $2,500 through grants, with the remaining $7,500 to be covered by ELPA Membership Dues and Donations. Our objective for 2024 is to reach 100 Annual Members, contributing to the total of $7,500. Join us today to support this cause!
